Welcome to Esseborne Manor.

Located between Andover and Newbury, once referred to as being 'invitingly snug', this family run Victorian Country House Hotel is small, unpretentious, yet stylish.

It is set amidst the splendour of the North Wessex Down, close by the lovely Bourne Valley, in an area designated one of outstanding natural beauty.

The house, which for over 100 years has been a country retreat, still retains the feel of a private home where the Hamilton family provide a warm and caring welcome with comfortable lounges, and bedrooms where you are pampered with fluffy towels and robes, local filtered well water and home made biscuits."

Bedrooms are individually decorated, many with king size beds, spa bath and some with four poster beds.

The Restaurant

The Restaurant serves award winning food with a choice of dinner dishes to suit all tastes and a reasonably priced lunch menu and traditional afternoon tea which can be served with a glass of champagne for that special occasion.

Relax in the Countryside on a 2 or 3 night break for exploring thatched villages and gardens of the North Hampshire Downs or the historic cities of Winchester, Salisbury and Oxford, or the mystical Stonehenge.

Fun in the Countryside - enjoy the numerous activities of the area with special arrangements for driving sports and Formula car racing around the Thruxton racing circuit, thrilling off road driving experience over tough terrain, tank driving on Salisbury Plain, a day with the birds at the Hawk Conservancy, free golf at The Hampshire Golf Club, or for a small fee, daily membership of the Newbury Huffield Health Club with swimming pool, badminton, squash and health and beauty spa.

After a day in the countryside, return to Esseborne for Afternoon Tea in front of a log fire followed by a relaxing jacuzzi in your own bathroom in preparation for a fine cuisine dinner before returning to your luxurious King Size bed.
